Aw, shucks!

Hi Menai/Dereck, We just spent a week at the lodge with Ed and just wanted to take a minute and let you know how absolutely thrilled we were with the week.  The food was very very good, the service unbeatable and the hospitality was awesome.  We have been to this lodge before as well as many many others and this was, by far, the most enjoyable trip we have ever had.  You have the perfect people on scene and as always the area is spectacular.  This is the first time we have been successful in our hunt, but even that was secondary to the overall enjoyment for us. Once again, thank you and congratulations on making the lodge exactly what it should be. - Lillian

The clearcut was west of the "EMU Road". The forest along the road into the camp didn't look much different. Blackfly Stadium is "south" of the Burt Lake Road and "west" of the fire tower.

Located 25 minutes west of Kirkland Lake, ON off of Highway 66, there is something here for everyone. Burt Lake Lodge has recently renovated 1-, 2-, and 3-bedrooms villas, with full efficiency kitchens, dining areas and living rooms. We are deep in the forest for some peace and quiet, but if needed, a quick run into town for anything forgotten.
